BONSAI KAT - Egotripping (Grand Hotel)

Following on from new label Grand Hotel's debut release comes a whirling juggernaut of analogue acid and bass, Bonsai Kats first assault Egotripping.

Bonsai Kat is an elusive creature that has spent the last two years bottling up his powers and is now ready to wield his own brand of ninja-electro on the world. Grand Hotel have been quick to snap up the cagey feline, saying they have been "blown away" by the new sound Bonsai Kat has developed.

Remix duties have been handed to ones to watch L.A. trio Human Life, whose tropical influenced beats mixed with dirty techno bass-lines and a dash of their signature old skool Chicago house flavour compliments the original perfectly.

To coincide with each Grand Hotel release will be Grand Hotel label nights, taking place at Fabric. Previous guests have included Vitalic, Feadz, Riva Staar, Zane Lowe, DJ Zince, Doorly and Renaissance Man.
